The 18th edition of the MBAT (MBAT 2008), the annual MBA Tournament hosted by HEC Paris, will take place at the HEC campus May 8th - 11th, 2008. Teams will compete in 24 different sports - individual and team - during the course of the four day event.
This event represents the largest annual gathering of international business-school students, with more than 70 nationalities represented. It brings together tomorrow's business leaders in a challenging international setting which epitomizes cooperation, fair play, friendship and social responsibility. The MBAT is a great opportunity for students to network.
The HEC MBAT represents a great opportunity for sponsors to establish business relationships with an exclusive group of MBA participants and alumni who will be tomorrow's leaders.

This year, for the first time, the MBAT will be carbon neutral. All of
the emissions from students traveling to and from the MBAT, as well as
all those emissions used for transportation during the MBAT will be
offset. In all, nearly 2,000 MBAT participants will be generating
around 200 tons of carbon dioxide which will be offset. These offsets
will be certified by an independent source to insure quality.
In order to go beyond neutralizing carbon emissions, the
Net Impact club
at HEC will providing solutions to reduce pollution, and energy usage
during the MBAT as well as focusing on recycling and composting waste.
